Too cold is more harmful. You can easily cool down if you are too hot but is very difficult to warm up and can be fatal. Many old people perish from the cold every year.

with the word "too" in there, neither condition is good for you
if the question were phrased: what is worse for your body, heat or cold, I would definitely say heat. if you look at the world and where people live, those who live in hot countries have far more significant health risks associated with their climate than those who live in the cold. You can't even get a cold in the Arctic during the winter, for example. unless someone comes from the south carrying germs and breathes on you, you won't get a cold; the germs can't survive the atmosphere and so can't be spread. of course, rapid travel has changed that dynamic somewhat. plague always starts in a hot country.
also, if you are cold, you can put on clothes and warm up
if you are hot, you can't take off your skin!

Your body can sweat if you get too hot but if you get too cold you can die
if your core tempperature is too high you could begin convulsions but it's rare in an adult as we can sweat it off
if you get too cold you can die of hypothermia the body goes into shock and the heart cant take much of that.
In extreme circumstances I'd say both are lethal but in ordinary terms we can warm up or cool off if we can get outside or a fan or put on more clothes and move about to warm up.

thats a question like can you survive in the desert.
Being too hot will reduce the water in your body as it will be lost through sweating. Water is needed for nutritions to be transferred arund your body. Probably pass out and die from thirst.
Being too cold causes the sweat glands on your body to constrict and will rely on heat inside the body. Blood cells will not be able to tranfer oxygen to the muscles(lungs). Once the cold reaches the heart, it will stop and the person will die from a heart attack.

Prefrably be in the middle!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think being too hot is worse. Theres never a way to cool down. At least if you are cold, you can cover up with sweaters, blankets, etc

They can both be very dangerous. If you become too cold you'll become hypothermic, and without outside intervention you could die. Once you've become hypothermic, you have to have an external heat source to warm you up, because your body can't produce heat anymore.

If you become too hot, you could suffer from heat stroke or worse. When you get too hot, your body loses the ability to sweat, and so it can't cool itself off. My mom knew a nurse who got really sick and her temperature went up to about 105 degrees F and she ended up with permanent brain damage.

I think body would prefer to be warm than being cold, since too much cold would affect the blood circulation .. and one tends to become lazy.. and sluggish !

personally i find being too hot more uncomfortable than being cold.

At least you can add layers and whack up the heating when cold, but hot you just sweat and too hot and bothered to do anything.
