I do not think the US is out to destroy any country. If Al Gore had not been cheated in the 2000 presidential election, the world would have been different and better today. The lesson for all Americans? Chose your presidents cautiously, because your choice affects not only America, but the rest of the world as well

What an uninformed question, all you want to do is elicit disparaging comments about America from the malcontents and feed the hate for this great country.
Except for Canada, the country's you list are already in disarray and have many problems
And for the really misinformed person the USA has had nuclear power for a long time and we do not want it from Iran.We just don't like to see that power in the hands of radical, unbalanced country's that deny people the right to a free life.
I love America and the Gods have always smiled upon
this great nation.

ILikely Iran but then I doubt America would dare to venture down this path. Iran with its nuclear ambitions is the biggest thorn in America's flesh. It also has the gall (in fact courage) not to care about America's sabre rattlings. Under its very energetic presidient, Iran is fast becoming a big power in Arab, and therefore world politics and now even more so having developed nuclear capabilities. No amount of US's threats could cow this 'radical' muslim state, giving the US a huge slap in its face. All this Bush and his hawkish cabinet simply could not stomach and hence are keen to teach Iran a military lesson. However, Iran is no Iraq. If America with its coalition of the willing cannot control Iraq even after loudly proclaiming 'Mission Accomplished', Iran would definitiely be a more impossible situation militarily. With most of its military forces quagmired in Iraq, I also doubt America has the capacity, capability and willingness to prosecute another war when this new enemy is even stronger. The other nations you listed are also interesting. Notice that some used to be friends of America, especially Canada. But now more and more South American countries are standing together in opposition to the USA, a very clear indication of America's failure in foreign policy. America must realise that unlike the 20th century, many more 'mature' states no longer tolerate American bullying and will not simply accept its uninvited self -appointed stewardship.

Iran... possible
Venezuela... their president might be getting on the US government's nerves, but they represent no threat... but then again, Venezuela has a lot of oil, so it would be a possibility as well... although, given there are so many hispanic people (including American born citizens) in the US these days, such invasion would be HIGHLY unpopular with the voters.
Guatemala, Canada or Brazil... all I can say is, "are you on dope?"

Unfortunately for the childish people that answered this before me. Only those that threaten us, which may be Iran. If Israel doesn't do it first. As for America destroying itself, that is just the whining of people that want everything but want to earn nothing. They have lost no rights,They can still go where they want, say what they want, and do what they want. The economy is better than it's been in twenty years. There only problem is they want their freedom to come without cost because they are afraid they might have to help pay. They whine while others fight to allow them that right.

because we actually want their oil. lets no longer care a lot less about our own freedom and liberties which we do no longer have anymore. we've a blood thirsty and criminal dictator George Bush. Our authorities keep brainwashing us with the intention to achieve their criminal objectives. we've such an excellent type of functional idiots that could no longer even distinguish a lie from truth.

The Americans will never destroy Canada, though they did a pretty good job of ruining the NHL.

The only thing we have to do in order to 'destroy' those countries is to - do nothing.
They are all doing a better job of it themselves than we ever could.

Iran ..........because Iran deserves that.........even people of Iran want to get rid of this dictator. Misleading people in name of Islam and using the power for destruction of innocent..........what else should be done with country choosing such incapable leaders...... I am happy that some educated Iranian students attempted to take brave step of standing against this dictator.
only education can bring awareness in Muslims, and since the corrupt leaders know this fact, they don't send their children to good schools, but just give them knowledge of Islam and misguide them.

My country doesn't destroy countries, it saves them. Always has. And it frees ungrateful people like yourself. You are also free to be deluded: You think you are safe without the U.S. Military (you are not). God Bless America!
In further response: Your thinking is Bad & Fishy. Our military protects your freedom and your life in the same way a policeman or fireman would. Do you put out your own house when it's on fire? Why then would you show such contempt for those who risk and sacrifice their lives to protect your country from burning?
