I'm dating someone at the minute, I know he likes me but why does he find it hard to look me straight in the eye when we're chatting?!!!

P.S. When we're talking it's not like we're talking bout something that I would expect him to lie about, it's just general chit chat he does this.

some ppl have a form of OCD and have a difficult time looking in ppl's eyes ,,,,,,,i have a similar prob ,,,,ask him to wear (dark )sunglasses and tell him you cannot see his eyes and see if he looks in your eyes more often ,,,,,,do the test without him knowing and then the next day with him knowing see if he does it with all ppl or just you ,,,,,,,with the glasses ppl do make contact more if you cannot see there eyes (i still am trying to break the habit of not making good eye contact )its not an insecurity as julie says and has nothing to do with guilt in my case ,,,i feel i make ppl uncomfortable with my stare and bright blue eyes and have felt there discomfort over time and it translated over time growing up that my stare made you feel uncomfortable leading to me making ppl fell more at ease by not STARING INTO there eyes this is what gives some ppl this ocd( form of )

Some people find it quite uncomfortable to keep eye contact with anyone. Its an insecurity within themselves. Try watching him while he talks to others and see if he makes eye contact with them. I dont believe it has anything to do with you hon. It just feels awkward to him. Help him find ways to feel good about himself.

Because he is lying about something.......... and doesn't trust you enough to tell you the truth...he doesn't trust you...
