Ok, here are the facts: He is concerned about his appearance (alot), he likes to wear nice clothes, he listens to Stevie Nicks and Queen, carly simon, among others, one time he popped in a mariah carey and then a wilson phillips cd and i got sick to stomache, he sometimes calls other men handsome, alot of gay guys like him, sometimes when he does me from behind he likes to say "I love f'in your a$s, even though its vaginal sex. (I heard that he could only get off with his ex from the behind way) Hes neat. He took me to a rob thomas concert last year, that is kinda gay. he says he used to live on marthas vineyard with a bunch of gay guys, he likes to cook. hes fancy. i jokingly asked him to go to a destinys childs concert one time, he said no, then I asked about justin timberlake, he said sure. theres this guy that works at a gas station that we go to that we befriended, and we saw him at a bar, and my bf accidentally brushed his hand against his crotch(we think hes gay)what do u think?

Well, the way you put it, he does sound a little on the gay side. Give it a little more time and if he does more feminine things with you then sit him down and ask him flat out without being rude or disrespectful. You don't want to hurt his feelings, so the best thing to do is to just ask him in your own sweet way. Now don't be shocked if he gets offended at first, the first reaction is usually the correct one. Just tell him that you are not trying to hurt his feelings, you just want to know where you guys stand in relationship wise. And then if you feel like the relationship isn't getting any better, suggest friendship. You can't go wrong with friendship, and there's nothing like having a gay guy as a friend. They usually make the bestest friends. Oh yea, and just because a gay maybe a male cheerleader, that really doesn't make him gay. Try to think if you see another male cheerleader that maybe he didn't make the football team. I hope everything works out for you. God Bless

Maybe he is, maybe he isn't... From what you say I'd be thinking that he may be, but it might just be coincidence. If he was living with the other gay guys then that might explain a few of his actions - eg. why he likes that music, why he feels comfortable saying another guy's handsome, and why he's so concerned about his appearance. People tend to develop habits from those that they spend a lot of time with, and maybe some of what his ex housemates did and said influenced him in some way. You said he accidentally brushed his hand against a guy's crutch - maybe it was an accident. As far as the sex goes, maybe it's the only angle that really does it for him. If a guy's not that sensitive then that might actually be the only way he can feel it enough. I've made excuses for everything that you mentioned, but at the end of the day I think you know in your own mind. You need to ask him outright before you end up spending years with him and then find out later. Maybe he just needs someone to ask him for him to come out. Then again, maybe he's just in touch with his feminine side and is as straight as you're hoping he is. At the end of the day though, you can't just assume - ask him in a nice and unaccusing way, even saying someone else mentioned it to you if you like. Good luck!!! :)

Forget the music, lots of straight guys like the singers you have mentioned, they also like to cook. It's the other factors that make him sound like he may be gay. He could be bi or he could just be scared to admit that he is. My friend (who is a gay guy) says you should buy porn, one with girls and one with guys, see which one he wants to watch. Of course he may say the girls when other people are around but leave traps to find out if he is watching the gay one alone eg, put a small piece of paper in the dvd case and see if it has been moved, leave the case sitting at a certain angle. You should really try to find out soon if he is because you will end up getting hurt.

lol he sounds a bit like me, He's probly not gay, i'd go with the metrosexual. He's probly really comfortable with his sexuality which gives him the confidence to listen to that kinda music and joke about gay things etc without worrying about people thinking he's gay!
Give him a break, if his camp side bothers you, then leave him, if not just accept him the way he is

Although all of the signs point to him being gay, i don't understand why he would deny him self by going out with another woman after he left his ex, unless of course he is bi. Its a tricky situation, but as long as you are happy and he is not cheating with you, be it man or woman what have you got to worry about. he must still be attracted to you or he would not have sex with you. consider talking to a few of his friends about this and see what they have to say, but make sure its someone you can trust.

I dont think he's gay. just very much intouch with feminine side and you did say he brushed his accidentally against the guy's crotch not intentionally...
and i had a guy who could only get off from sex from behind too.....i think its about deeper penetration in that position.

He could be gay, but did you ask him? You just need to ask the man. If he is gay, you should let him know that it's alright and that you won't be angry. Just ask him in a joke....
Maybe he is just bisexual. Or he is just a very female man.
