Thin slices of french bread, drizzled with olive oil and rubbed with a fresh garlic clove, bake in the oven until crisp and golden, top when cool with anything you like...

try parma ham and pineapple, tomato, basil and mozzarella, pate and cucumber, salmon and cream cheese, salsa, all these and more would be fabulous... yum...

French baguette sliced on the slant
Cheese biscuits, assorted.
Digestive biscuits.
Thin slices of toast cut into shapes with pastry cutters.

ok
shortcrust pastry with either : chopped rosemary in it, or cracked black pepper, or fresh thyme, or lemon zest, lemon thyme now springs to mind.
use a pastry cutter to make rounds of bread, dark bread is best as it holds better with stuff on top.
go old skool with pastry vol au vents
ryvitas
mini cheddars
go mad with sushi rice
mini yorkshire puddings
baked egg tortilla
or just put things on skewers like chicken satay, thai prawns or mini veggie kebabs

malba toast! Cut french stick thinly smear with olive oil and put under grill...keep an eye on them so they dont burn...turn and do same to other side...the smear with a touch of tapinard and bobs your uncle....mmmmmm....
