Considering that Lady Di complained publicly that there were 3 in her marriage and blamed the Duchess of Cornwall for the breakup .
do you think that she should stay away from the concert out of respect, or attend to keep up with protocall

I don't think any of the Royal family should attend, except for her sons, the rest of them treated Princess Diana (she should always have kept that title) appallingly! but then treatment of people who don't quite conform to their inner sanctum have never been treated well, poor woman didn't stand a chance, she had a mental illness and didn't get the support she needed.
So No definitely Not, Camilla Should have the decency to stay away!!!!!

I was going to say that I think the Duchess should attend as she is the step mother to lady Di's children and I felt this would be out of respect for them but now I am thinking maybe not due to the being the reason for the marriage break up and all and so I am confused and don't really have an answer now.

No! I certainly do not think that the Duchess of Cornwall should attend this concert. Whether intentional or not, she caused Diana considerable distress throughout her marriage to the Prince of Wales.

The situation is not Lady Di fault or the Duchess of Cornwall's fault it is down to the short sightedness of the advisers to the Royal family. I have every sympathy for her. She has had a lot to put up with and she has come through it with flying colours. If she feels it is the right thing to do then she should do it.

Not only should she stay away from the concert, she should in fact stay away from the royal family and Prince Charles. A mistress always a mistress. That's what she was and what she still is no matter what her marriage certificate says.

Each second wife has to decide things like that on her own.
I think she would be doing it out of respect for Diana, not to spite her. How the public sees this will no doubt be opposite, as the Windsors have some horrible PR staff.

Diana, in heaven, probably is at peace, and is happy for Charles and Camilla.

Besides, Camilla is why Diana got to finally free herself from Charles. She may have hated her, but it was probably the best thing to happen to their marriage since William and Harry. It was a horrible marriage for many other reasons!

Well considering she actually shared a bed with twit Charles the night before he married Diana, I think she has got a cheek.

The British people will never accept her, despite all Charles' efforts to mainpulate the media.

Can't say which is in worse taste--
the concert or the duchess attending.

Of course she should attend! The Duchess of Cornwall had nothing to do with the death of Princess Di.
