One of my eight cats, Tibbles ran away on 2 nd December. Today, ie, 12th, another of them, Tubby, was missing. I didnt spot any strange behavior before they went missing.... they just disappeared all of a sudden. How can I tell when they wanna run away?

Most of the time cats won't run away unless they are being direly mistreated or not being fed at home. They seldom get lost either- cats know the way home. There may be predators near your home that are snatching your kitties. Keep them in.

When a cat finds the "den" too stressful or crowded or threatening or no longer pleasant, he will simply leave. He does not "plan" it, he just does it. The only way to know is to be sensitive to what cats will tolerate. Some can tolerate multiple other animals within the den as long as it is clean and there is plenty of food available. Some cats cannot tolerate too many other pets and will find such conditions very stressful. Some cats will be stressed out when someting new (a person, another pet, even a peice of furniture) is introduced into the den.

I'm sorry that 2 of your cats have ran away.

it's an historic better halves story. Heres the item. Cats are clever. They realize wherein they consume. The cat will come again while allow out. Keep a bowl of meals at the porch or steps for him at the side of a bowl of water. Some cats will take a look at to return to their historic condominium to start with. To give up this, maintain the cat within for no less than two weeks earlier than letting it out of its new dwelling. He goes to be opting for up the odor of the brand new vicinity whenever you open and near the door. He'll realize wherein he lives. If he doesnt' come again inside a couple of days, some thing has extra then most likely occurred to him. Either any person took him in, or he met a sad coincidence.. They rather do realize wherein they reside. It's in thier nature. He'll constantly come dwelling if he is competent.

They never want to run away, if they are spayed and or neutered, they won't have that urge, even if they do get out, they always come back unless something happened to them, put up flyers and a lost article in the paper. I hope you don't have a mean neighbor. We had one here.

I'm so sorry your pets disappeared. I think they just up and walk away without telling you, I mean show signs of wanting to run away. That's what happened to me and some of my cats who disappeared. They just walk away or someone stole them. I've had that happen too.
