what do you think of this word especially involved with feelings . for example : do you think of me as much as I do ? maybe ...... what a word , ok I think most of the times means yes cause otherwise you say NO and that's it . What do you think about ? especially you men ?

I think maybe is a nicer word for no! If someone genuinely likes you a lot then they will say YES - maybe is non commital - I think its used in a non hurtful way a lot of the time- lets face it the word no is so final and doesnt leave much room for doubt!! xx

Well actually in this case maybe is the only option because how is someone supposed to know how often you think about them in comparison to how often they think about you!
It is like are you white ? Er maybe it would be yes or no wouldn't it but you cannot answer a question that it is impossible to answer which are most love related questions anyway!

To me maybe is a nice way of saying NO. When you don't intent on hurting someones feelings, or when you would like them to stop asking, you say maybe.

it's a very non commital word. Always said when the person is really not sure or do not want to commit themselves to anything.
You could even question the sincerity of the speaker I think.

Maybe i will tell you... maybe i wont... but i think you are like alot of woman who try and analyse things too much and thats what does your head in. And how can anyone answer the question, "do you think of me as much as I do?".... how can you measure it?

Possibly, more often than not I might on a good day try not to think about it, but then again maybe I will or then again not.
