Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. Jn 5:13-14
If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: A dog returns to its vomit, and, A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud. 2 Pet 2:20-22
Continued in additional comments... (But why make it seem like you can continue sinning, continue to live a life of ignorance/and mindset of the world, being carnal, and say like well we are suppose to sin/live this manner we have no choice, Jesus takes it away continually when these quotes and the one below speaks otherwise?

For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV). This says there is no more sacrifice for sin, after one deliberately doesn’t apply what they know – or sin when they know.

This correlates with what Jesus taught here, "And that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more" (Luke 12:47-48 NKJ).
So if you are required afterwards to walk in Jesus pattern moving within his footsteps and living a consecrated life/spiritual mindset that sets you internally from the world and invokes spiritual growth and inner works, then who do you teach something that is obviously not what Jesus himself, or Peter taught? Even so much that you crucify the Christ afresh in you, by returning to the vomit of ignorance. Seems to me there is no insurance deal in what I have put as proofs.

Yeah, but if you listen to Christians, all you hear is self defeating doctrine, how they can't help but to sin. When these quotes say they have the capacity to do it, that the holy ghost and God gives them this power. Because if you sin, don't apply what you know, you are sinning by choice, so you are guilty of what the apostles say in the above quotes.
I've been thinking about tis, to me it seems their perception came from martin luther. "Be a sinner, and let your sins be strong, but let your trust in Christ be stronger, and rejoice in Christ who is the victor over sin, death, and the world. We will commit sins while we are here, for this life is not a place where justice resides... No sin can separate us from Him, even if we were to kill or commit adultery thousands of times each day." - By Martin Luther.

Jac tm, thats my point. You say no Christian says they can continue to sin, I am saying that is what they are indirectly saying and showing in their actions. It's like some biazzire insurance deal! In that Hebrew quote it says there is no more sacrifice for sins after you receive the enlightenment of the Holy Ghost in Jesus way and not apply this knowledge, or sin willingly. You say God will give you room to repent, this says otherwise. And Yeshua even says a worst thing comes unto you, if you sin after being changed/healed by him and his way.

Yes good question except which Christians? There many different groups running around claiming to be the "real Christians".
With regard to Luther you make a wonderful point and to narrow things down I'll add Protestant Christianity has a lot to do with this condition.
When you have other so-called reformers like Calvin and those who preach 'once saved always saved' doctrine or the idea of faith alone saves this naturally leads to a lack of accountability of ones actions. If someone is told do this or say this and you'll be completely saved why would futures sins bother them?
Fact is false doctrines have helped create this environment of denial and loss of accountability.
The lack of sacramental theology in these groups also plays a role as they are not instructed to return God's universe to its equilibrium (penance) once they do repent and ask forgiveness.

You wrote too much to read, so I will just answer your question. We Christians are not allowed to just go and sin. Once we are saved we have to walk away from sin. We are then judged by grace. This means we might stumble with our thoughts and maybe say the wrong thing, but we do not deliberately sin. Also, part of being saved and born again is to admit that we are sinners. Everyone in the world is a sinner. We Christians repent our sins, but we are still sinners.

My friend you are being brain washed by some false teachers.
No Christians claim, they can continue doing sin. Those that accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord can never live in sins again.
As far as I am concerned I will be notified if I do an error. God shows me where I have fallen and I'll get chance to repent.
Those who are washed whole. need to wash their feet alone.
A true Christian (accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord / Born Again) is free from the eternal punishment or the second death or the power of sin and death.

Don't you mean why do SOME???? Why do people in this forum make generalizing statements like this? I know that once you repent you are suppose to turn away from your wicked ways. Just the same as I know that if you do just so happen to fall off God does not turn his back on you.
Luke 15:7
7In the same way, heaven will be happier over one lost sinner who returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven't strayed away!

I am very curious which "Christians" are doing this? There are a few who declare you have got to maintain the Jewish Sabbath - they're no exclusive than the Judaisers that Paul rebuked in Galatians, and within the publication of Acts, bankruptcy 15, they're referred to as Pharisees, and they're sternly rebuked! But rather than that, I do not know of someone claiming that we're stored by way of works. Yes, works is major, when you consider that Jesus stated "Let your gentle (well works) so shine earlier than guys, that they glorify your Father in heaven", however that's not FOR salvation; that is the outcome of salvation. "Faith with out works is lifeless; exhibit my your religion with OUT works, and I'll exhibit you MY religion BY my works.") So, Ephesians isn't became over, we're STILL stored BY Grace, THROUGH religion; it's the present of God, no longer by way of works, in order that NO guy can boast." So, once more, simply precisely who's going round (rather than the Sabbath-insisters) claiming that we're stored by way of works? (And no, you'll be able to NOT say JWs or mormons - they're NOT Christian, by way of definition of what the Bible teaches, vs what THEY instruct.)

I do not know any Christian who believes they can do as they please.
There are though many many Christians who hold to different standards regarding personal lifestyle and conduct.
And, my friend, you and I ought to be very very thankful that if we do sin, we have an Advocate with the Father.
What? You never sin in thought , word, or deed? You never find yourself engaging in something you know to be wrong? You never have to ask God to forgive you for the same thing time and time again?
"He that thinketh he standeth...." you probably know the rest of the verse.
god bless!

It is a trick of Satan to keep the church without authority. You are right otherwise why would Jesus tell us to be perfect even as our Father in heaven is perfect.
Authority like Jesus had over the spirits of darkness.

I don't know if the pasages you quote are accurate but I'd say it only takes a little common sense . So each to their own just as long as they don't step on mine. It usually depends on where and when you reference a passage now doesn't it seem like you return to good common sense for most judgments ....
peaceout & diddlely do enjoy life...

Common sense says that no one can keep sinning and be forgiven so long as they know what they are doing is a sin and they are not forced to do it.
