It seems someone's always ready to bail out on the other person. Just my observation.

A lot of positive answers. Perhaps the vision of a trusting relationship is still alive. It's quite refreshing to hear the opposite from what I've been seeing, hearing, and experiencing.

Good observation. People don't want to do the work it seems as the divorce rate is so high. To stick it out in times of trouble even if you are so pissed at your partner. To listen and communicate, to respect and honor one another. Yes I think they last but only the truely devoted ones who have the willingness to do the work make it so. Sad but true, people give up to easy.

We often make the mistake of going into relationships thinking as to what we can get from it but if we think instead of what we can give to the relationship, the whole context changes. We must remember that people are not perfect and when two different imperfect people meet, things can get rocky unless u are willing to give. When u learn to be joyful while giving, getting becomes explosively joyful.

They do last, yes. You always hear about the bad. That's a lot of why it seems to us that none do.

Of course they do. The reason why people hear about the bad so much is cause it doesn't happen to everyone and is sort of uncommon, believe it or not

they last, mine does. I can't say it has always been great, we had our ups and downs but we hung in there and made it better and better. Passion comes and goes but no matter what they say you have to make love work.
