From a third person view and lived in Mexico, I saw many disturbing things. If you live there you will be surprised that there is no real middle class. Even though studies show that middle class is rising in Mexico, it is still very low compare to developed nations.
If you make decent money there, you would be able to have housekeeper and drive a nice car.

Most disturbing thing I saw was that public schools are rat holes compare to private schools. I went to private school there, but I did visit several public schools. Public schools were disorganized and unstructured. Talk about problems with American school system, Mexico was in much worse condition. This gets more worse when private school students are educated too well compare to public school students. This is visible when they grow up.

Other thing is that racism among Mexicans themselves is horrible. If you are minority, then you will be separated from rich class.

I think this system becomes basis of inequality. Mexico does have high resources, but they do not get distributed equally. There was a statement that foreigners made. It was "rich Mexicans hold the highest wealth compare to most rich Americans." This just means that most money is held by rich people, where there are only few out there in Mexico.

They have plenty of money and oil.
They also have a "unique" way ;
to keep all for the chosen "few"
From the original people that
lived there they also have a "rich" Heritage.
Unfortunately that does not feed the "hungry".
I personally believe that Mexico has the resources
of been just as well off as the US and Canada.
Now, try to convince their leaders of this ;
That is nearly impossible.
And so it goes on and on.... Their "few' are there,
and their many whom wish a better life are here,
or they are still trying to come in.

hmm i dont know. many civilizations are behind "america." mexico just has many poverty stricken residents. and the government isnt really doing anything about it. thats why people forma merica come over and do mission trips, build houses, and bring food. we DO care. well, at least some of us do. sure they have a lot of land. but maybe they dont know what to do with it? if they were oil-rich, dont you thinktheir populstion would become rich form selling it? some parts of mexico are very 3rd world.
