If any pain contiues for more than a few days it should really be investigated and diagnosed by a medical practitioner.Three months is quite a long time, too long.
Analgesics/pain killers, ointments ,hotpacks and such will only mask the condition and give tempory relief. There are so many things that it could be a symptom of.
Ring as soon as you can and make that appointment with your Doctor.
Hope you are better real soon, its horrid to be unwell when everyone is celebrating.

If your posture during the work day is what is causing this (as it is for many people who sit all day and use a computer mouse) make sure you have good support of your arm and elbow with a sturdy piece of office furniture, and NOT a rickety little "computer desk" -- those things have caused more carpal tunnel and nerve issues than anything.

But the guy who says see a doctor and don't seek ultimate medical solutions here is right. Absolutely. Get it taken care of.

i guess its cervical spondilytis. Consult an orthopaedic doctor.

It has no medication except pain killers which can do more harm then good. A good doctor / physiotherapist will advise some exercises.

But be carefull of your posture. Avoid sitting in from of the computer or driving for too long. Take breaks in between and relax your back muscles.

I don't think you should be asking for medicines here. No one here is really qualified and this is sort of like practicing medicine without a license. Ask a real doctor. But externally, try a heating pad.

You should try Baba Ramdev's pranayam and exercises for permanent relief rather than medicines for temporary relief. This will definitely help a lot.
