No, no, and no. That is just screaming, "Even though I know you're a virgin, I know you're going to have pre-marital sex soon, so enjoy it while you're at it!" I'm sure if she is a responsible young adult, she will know to make those decisions by herself. However, if you know she isn't, maybe you should have her mom give them to her. I know if my aunt or uncle gave me a box of condoms (especially in front of all my friends, if I was having a birthday party), I would be pretty embarrassed or think it was a joke.

First of all,I agree with what India says. Maybe you should leave the Birth control and condoms to her parents to decide. That is not your place. I understand your concern however it would be inappropiate for you to just give her a box of condoms. Teens now days are well informed about the consequences of unprotected sex,so uncle just relax and let this girls parents do the do.Just be there for her if she ever needs someone to talk to,that is good enough.Another thing is obtinence is the best answer at this age. I realize things happen between teens,but why encourage it? Stay out of it Uncle. Just be supportive .

Good in theory but embarrassing as hell in practice dude!
Not only will it feel awkward but don't put a young girl through that kind of humiliation.........sex, at that age, is embarrassing enough without your family getting involved too.
Chances are that she has some already for when the moment comes.

Better to gift her a book on having "responsible relationships" that covers all the basics of commitment, marriage, statistics. AIDS, etc.
