Hello,

I am in grave need of help (hence the name)!!! I would love to give a friend of mine a great present for the new year. She is Hindu, and this is an aspect of her life I would like to touch in giving her a gift. I have very strong feelings for her and would LOVE to touch her heart with this. The only problem is I'm clueless and frustrated! I've lost sleep over this and thought I would take it to the wonderful world of the web! I would appreciate it, with all my heart, of a kind person out there would give me some advice. I live in New York City(if that helps in any way?). Also, she is a twenty year old marketing major that enjoys reading and REALLY loves shoes and jewelry. She has the most beautiful smile, and I want this gift to bring it out in full effect! This is really important to me, so I would forever appreciate any help thrown my way.

Thank you for your time and understanding!

Hi there

Buy her a charm bracelet with little hearts on it. With that give her a bunch of red roses and a box of chocolates and a gift certificate from a branded shoe shop. This way she can buy shoes of her choice and she can the jewelery of your choice.

Good Luck

Hello, so she is Indian and she loves jewelry. (Hindu supposed to be Indian. right??) Well i think if she simple-living and as you said she loves jewelry so i think a "Saari" with a matching jewelry would be a fantastic gift.

If she is stylish, you can give her a Diamond pendent, she would love it.

If you don't wanna give Diamond pendent, and would like to give something relating with her religion, you can give her a sweet little statue of Lord Ganesha. There is a great significance of this in Hindu Civilization.

It would have been easier to suggest the perfect gift if you had given some personal info about yourself also, i mean you are also indian or american like that.

Well if doesn't help you, put your question again with some more info and i'll certainly help you

Since she is Hindu and its a big part of her life, try giving her jewelry that reflects a bit of Hindu on it... say an elephant earrings or necklace to represent Ganesh, you know things like that...its kinda harder to pick shoes cause you have to find out her shoe size, style and comfortability, a book, who knows if she already has the book youre going to give, its risky...so I say go for the jewelry, its so much safer and no girl can resist a bit of sparkle.

There was a study in 2003 that showed that first-person shooter games help develop the brain to process visual information. According to the experiments, which are reported in the May 29 (2003) issue of Nature, people who play action video games can process visual information more quickly and can track 30 percent more objects than non video game players. Another study in 2004 specifically said that doctors who spent at least three hours a week playing video games made about 37 percent fewer mistakes in laparoscopic surgery and performed the task 27 percent faster than their counterparts who did not play video games.

try to find out what brand of shoes she likes best and what size she wears.
get her a pair of shoes.
Get a picture of her and on the back write how you feel about her in Hindi.
Buy her a book and put the picture in the back cover but don't tell her about it.
When she get's to the end of the book she'll see it and be surprised and she'll appreciate your effort.
