Family Christmas at my brother's home is not what i'd call heart-warming or peaceful. I'd really rather not go if I can avoid it.

"I'm sorry, but I won't be able to attend this year." or "I've decided to do something a little different this year."

Keep it short, simple, and to the point. Don't make excuses for yourself, and definitely don't tell your brother that you'd "really rather not go if [you] can avoid it." Call and say hello to everyone if you feel the need to, but don't feel obligated to make appearances on demand.

If your whole family is going (personally) i Will go
but if u don't want to go then just go out of town and say that u couldn't make because the car broke down and when u was taking a ride the driver took me farther than what i wanted to go so i couldn't make it. If they ask why u didn't called them then tell them u forgot your cell phone or didn't have money to call them.

First make it sparkling on your mom which you incredibly opt for to spend time along with her. Then gently clarify that contemporary gatherings of the excellent relatives have been stressful for you because of the flaws you indexed above. tell her you may incredibly pass those styles of events and do issues the place you will discover her with out the drama of the super events. Ask her if she might opt for to connect you to have fun Easter and to no longer plan on you for the occasion she is making plans with your sibling. she will probable be relieved because of the fact she does not like that loopy drama the two.

Send or take a gift over for the family and tell him that you are sorry but you won't be attending because you have made other arrangements for this year.

try to send something in advance ,like a present ,a cake or anything else, and call and say that you probably wont make it
but you're calling to say merry Xmas anyway, anyway how can you enjoy something that does not give you peace and besides
your going to drain your soul from those vibes?

nothing wrong with that....thank your brother for the invitation and let him know that you'll be starting your own xmas traditions starting this year (even if it's just staying home and watching t.v....it's still YOUR tradition!!).....starting your own xmas traditions allows you to skip out on family gatherings, not only this year-but for every year yet to come!!.....i would call your brother on xmas day tho and wish everyone a merry xmas!

Contagious explosive diarrhea. Get it. Then make sure everyone knows you're missing work because of it.
