For anyone thats interested, I found it. It was actually seven heavens and the reason I was looking was to see if there was a similarity between the seven heavens and the chakras / kundilini

Assalam aziz,
There are believed to be 7 veils between Man and Allah. When we are awakened after we are laid down to rest (i.e on the Day of Judgement) and after all the judgements are passed, a ram (male goat) will be sacrificed. This is the representation of death or Al Mauth. And it means that there shall be no more death to anyone after this time. Allah will also clear all the 7 VEILS and reveal himself entirely to those in Jannah and all those there will bow down towards him in sajdaah.
This i would think are the 7 veils you are talking about.
There are also 7 heavens, I am not sure if this is another interpretation to this.
Hope this helps. May Allah forgive our sins and make us among those who are blessed to see HIM.

The path to enlightenment is to really guard your prayer, fast and zakah. And follow the guidance from The Qur'an, and the prophet wisdom( sunnah ).

I have not heard this. If you want to find out about Islam, read the Qur'an; I recommend the Yusuf Ali translation, which is well done and has extensive footnotes. See if you can find the errors -- there are some.

Try the Koran. Anyway, I think the 'veils' that you speak of are akin to the 'chakras' of Buddhism.

All hocus pocus. All rubbish. find out about it, out of interest, then dismiss it as poetry, or myth, but for goodness sake don't believe it!
