I am not a doctor ...but to know what is best for Ur body ...so they check Ur bp and heart rate ,height,weight, measure ur body so when u start exercising u have a target to heart rate u shouldn't exceed it because u don't want to pressure Ur heart ...so all they check + ur age can benefit u more......and they can compare it after few months if every thing is better then u r on the right track other wise they can adjust ur program and diet

what do you mean by screen? if investigating heart function, the tester needs to know a normal resting rate, the an exercise rate, and the recovery time in between.
