Just now before Math class, he went up to me and said, "I don't like u. In fact, I hate u! I like Jessica", and I'm heartbroken. All I need is, how do I tell if he's telling the truth or not? I really am heartbroken! When he said that, I was about to cry because he said it directly to my face! I need help! Seriously, I need to know if he's lying or not! I just simply can't tell!

Hi Quistina,
After what happened to you, I want you to know that you did not deserve the treatment you received.
I can tell without getting anymore information on this guy that he is extremely immature and one cannot expect a boy to behave like a man. In his case, I think the important thing for you to realize is when you are dealing with a boy ( a child), sometimes the truth has no meaning one way or the other, so please view what he did as being an act of extreme immaturity and total lack of appreciation for your feelings.
The only thing I can say in addition is, " I feel sorry for Jessica, as she has no idea what she is getting into, and have no fear, he will do her the very same way when he finds someone else.
Bottom line, Quistina, it is not really important if he is telling the truth or not, as I believe he has not the comprehension to be able to understand right from wrong or the truth from a falsehood.
You have done nothing wrong, and it is important to understand that he is the loser, not you, because he lost your friendship, which he can never replace or even come close.
Go ahead and let all the hurt come out and when there is no more left, it is time for you to find the guy that you were meant to be with, instead of some immature child that just hurt your special feelings.

Retain your dignity and listen to what he says, but don't take it too personally. It hurts right now, but move on and you'll find someone else to like before you know it. Remember all of your good qualities and don't let the opinion of one person get you down. You're young and this too shall pass. There will be plenty of guys during your school days that will like you and vice versa. Hang in there. Hugs.

perhaps you should only stop obsessing. he's probably beaten once you're spending too a lot time stressful about him. provide him some respiration rome. Even act like you do not care anymore. adult males like to chase. ;P

That sounds pretty straightforward to me. It sounds like you've been chasing him too hard and he's getting annoyed. Also, It seems like neither of you are mature enough for a relationship, anyway. You need to wait.

It isn't so complicated. If he is lying, he wouldn't look directly into your eyes, unless he is a 'proffesional' liar. You should talk to him and ask him why he said that, maybe you said something he didn't like.Hope my answer is ok. BYE!!!

What more does he have to say, sorry to be blunt but he has been and i don't think you must be listening sounds like he has been pretty straight forward and i am guessing he has be straight with you all along and you just didn't get it so he had to be harsh.

awww this happened to me so i know exactly how yu feel. think back and try to see why he wud say he hates yu.. in my situatuiion it was that he didnt hate ME it was how i acted with other guys.. did yu make him jealous? who is this jessica... nd is she REALLY his crush..?
dont lose heart until yu know the fact.. but if it comes out to be whut it is then he is an *** for not realizing whut he has in front of him..:]

Hate is a Strong word and one that shouldn't be tossed around like an old shirt. If he doesn't hate you, but says it... that's very mean in it's self. Take it for what it is. You'll find better...NEVER settle

Well, I don't know how many people would say "I hate you" and be lying about it. He sounds like a jerk anyway.. don't waste your time. I say get over him.

Depends on the circumstances, based on the situation its seems pretty clear the way he feels, but you would know best what kind of person he is.
