I know it is caused by stress and i have been able to control it pretty well with out taking anything but there are times where i feel like my heart is gonna jump out of my chest. I don't want to be dependent on a pill for the rest of my life. I would rather have a natural way to deal with it. anything worked for you???

Most anxiety is caused by things not within your control.
Talk yourself through it, telling yourself that you're OK, that it will work itself out or that it is beyond your control. Take deep breaths. Give yourself a pep talk about how strong you are, that you can handle it, in spite of the adversary.

If it something within your control causing the anxiety work out a plan that enables you to overcome it.

Look into Yoga or an exercise program to help release tension.

As you said anxiety is often caused by stress and sometimes hard to try to fight it. Although I've found that one good method is you might need to change the kind of environment that you live in.I don't know where you live, but it doesn't help if the environment around is continuously stressing because it just increases your anxiety. So you would probably need to get away and be in a more calm place. And maybe even a nice relaxing holiday should also help you out. This will not completely change your life, but it will certainly help not to make this worse.
