I don't think either man was in the right in this situation. Steven Pressley is a great defender and captain, very fine defensive organiser on the pitch. There is little doubt that he did what he did out of the best of intentions, but he was wrong to do it in public on television. Romanov is within his rights to take whatever action he sees fit OFF the park and he has done that. However, he is in the wrong by continually undermining his Team Manager by interfering with football affairs.

You ask if the problems at Tynecastle will be resolved by the sacking of Steven Pressley. Quite frankly, no they won't because it is perceived by many Hearts fans that there is a vendetta being waged against the Scottish players in favour of the Lithuanian players at the club and that the Scottish identity of Heart of Midlothian FC is being constantly eroded by the Romanov regime.

Removing the kingpin of the Scottish element in the group will only strengthen that conviction especially if Hartley and Gordon follow him out the door and I would expect more supporter protests in the coming weeks.

Stephen Pressley is in the right. He spoke out about what was happening behind the scenes and that how low the morale in the team was because of Romanov's interference with team matters and the constant change of manager. All he wanted was stability for Hearts.
This was his right to do so in a country where Freedom of Speech is part of our culture.
Where Mr Romanov comes from Stephen would have been sent to Siberia never to be seen again for speaking out of turn.
Everything will be rosy at Tynecastle once the other two Hartley and Gordon go because here will then be nobody left who has the guts to tell all or speak out.
There will only be YES men from the Eastern Block and youngsters left who will do Romanov's every will without even questioning it, because the don't know any better.

steven pressley was right and wrong...he was right to say that there is a lot of problems at tyncastle but was wrong when he made his statement to the press i dont know if he went to romanov first but however the team is run at the end of the day it is the managers right to do what he wants there is other circumstances involved hear i.e ramonov senior interfering with everything but pressley should have asked for a transfer and could have left the club with some dignity intact..........its like any other job imagine joe bloggs slagging his boss off to the press he would be sacked straight away but saying all that i admire pressley for standing up the management circus at hearts

would be unable to incredibly see the experience in it to be honest. the assumption replaced into to have somebody to interchange Balde if Caldwell or McManus get injured. Now Pressley is a sturdy defender yet he would be unable to play in Europe because of the fact he already performed in europe for Hearts. So if Celtic opt for back up for Balde contained in the champions league they nevertheless have not got it. to no longer hardship, i'm particular Pressley can consult with Riordan appropriate to the Edinburgh derbies they have the two performed in collectively as they're sitting on the bench mutually.

Pressley was not the problem, Romanov is a fool and making your club a laughing stock. Mark my words you will be groundsharing with Livi within two years.
Pressley probably not a bad guy to have around, he's very popular in the Scotland set-up. However, please, please don't let the rumours of him going to the Dons be true - he's not good enough. He comes from Elgin, he can go and play for them.

No because Romanov want to replace everyone with Lithuanians. I think he will ruin the club and then dump it. Which is really bad for scottish football as Hearts were becoming one of the top teams.
I think Hartley will follow suit next and any other decent player who isnt lithuanian will leave shortly after.
