No 26 isn't too old. In fact its a nice age to get married as you are probably established and you know exactly what you want. I'm not saying that you don't what you want at 22 - 24, but 26 is a nice age to get married

Getting married at 26 is definitely not too old. Most everyone I know married in early to mid-thirties (including myself @ 36 years old !!! ) It really all depends on your life priorities. If you want to go to school and start a career, then later is better. If your primary goal in life is to start a family, then earlier is better (particularly for females for biological reasons -- fertility.) Putting life priorities aside, I believe it's good to take your time, learn a little, gain some wisdom and insight into what makes a relationship work. After all, you are committing to spend a lifetime with the other person.

Not at all, I was married at 23 and my brother married at 31. You are never too old for anything. A lot of people get remarried later on in life at 40 or 50. Age is only a number. What's important is that you are ready to get married at this stage in your life, it should not matter that you are 26. Don't let age be a barrier to anything that you can or want to achieve in life.

Nah it ain't too old....age doesn't really matter when it comes to marriage...unless your a serious minor. 22-24 sounds about right cause apparently you're at your prime around that age for procreation and blazy blah according to the natural life cycle. Normally if everything went your way your career would be in full flow by 26, so around 25 or 26 (28 and up for doctors and law majors), is a good age for a financially secure marriage....course that's if everything goes your way as i stated before.

For someone who did not go to college, 22-25 is probably around the right age.
If you went to college and possibly to grad school, you are just getting your career started by the time you are 25! Most people with a higher education do not get married until late 20's/early 30's because they are getting their careers started.
In fact, there are statistics if you look online - the longer you wait to get married, the better your chances are that it will last!

26 is too young! I am a guy and my mother told me if I ever wanted a marriage to last, never get married before 30. I thought she was crazy but all my friends that got married in their early 20's are now divorced or going thru a divorce in their late 20's. People go through so many transitions in their early twenties it's hard to know who you even are yet. Don't rush it if you have any doubts. Have as much fun as you can while you are in your twenties. All of my previously married friends would give you that advice as well.

The average age of a first time bride in the USA is 28.
So 26 is almost too young!
