You should tell him that you need to take things slow! you should take a break and see where things are heading!
and be honest, tell him that you are not ready for commitments!
and if you want him to be your friend still, tell him but i need you to be there for me! like i will be there for you!
Good luck

There are no many ways to break up. It always hurts the one who really loves and wants to continue being with the other person. As for being friends after breaking up, it's a difficult thing to do, especially for your boyfriend. It doesn't help forgetting.

no such things as breaking up with someone without hurting them, more or less they will feel hurt one
tell him frankly why u want to break up is the best, dun give any white lies,he will feel more hurt if he finds out the truth
can be friends after breaking up but not so soon cos it will make him hard to change from relationship to friendship
all the best

if u want to break up, thn u should tell him as soon as possible, cause as u don't wanna hurt him, if u'll be late then it can hurt him more.. u should be clear to him abt wht u r thinkin now , and why u don't want this relation more on, u can say if u want then we can be a good friends, but u know "friendship can turn into love, but love can never".. so the best the thing is u better break up all the relations... go on, and good luck....

If you really want to break it off you won't worry about being friends afterwards. Most of the time when someone still wants to "be friends" it's because they want ot be able to go back to that person in case others don't work out for them.So--- if you really want to break it off do it clean and do it permanently.

First of all, you have to be truthful and don't put it off. The longer you put it off, the deeper his feelings are going to go. This sounds cliche and retarded but honesty really is the best policy. When you tell him the truth you don't have to worry about saying something wrong, just speak from your heart. Unfortunately, he probably will be hurt who wouldn't be, but he will get over it and if your friendship it strong it will withstand the test of time.

Tell him like you just said it. If he's not mature enough to handle it and he starts making a big deal out of it, just be happy it's over. Give him some time, he'll be over it. Who knows maybe things can work out for you guys later on... Tell him exactly what you feel. Don't hold back.

Depends on how long you guys were
together. I think texting is the best way.
Or over the computer. So you wont have
to worry about the crazy drama :]
