I believe gapdreambabe is correct -- this is Body dysmorphic disorder. BDD is sort of a general term meaning that a person has a disturbed body image and is obsessed with changing it. Anorexia is just one form of BDD; muscle dysmorphia is another form. Although the name gives the connotation of a person obsessed with having too-small muscles, it can also include people who worry about not having enough body mass in general.

That I do not know. Maybe Depression. But I guess the opposite of being thin is obesity.

People can be addicted to food, but I have never heard of a disease where they think they are too thin. That's not the reason they overeat. They overeat because they love food and don't know when to stop.

well, there is something called binge eating. Usually though, people just eat alot in one sitting. In my case, I will eat and eat and eat, even when I'm not hungry, and then the next day, I won't eat hardly anything....
