I love those Oreos. Ever since I went off to college, they have become very hard to find. Not just at college, but everywhere I've been. Why doesn't Nabisco sell these Oreos year round?

Same reason McDonald's doesn't sell their McRibb year round: it draws people in who wouldn't normally bother. It's all marketing.

maybe it's one scheme to sell out as many to as much people who are curious in a very short amount of time to increase sales.

cheaper to mass manufacture what sells.,to change a product,ie i tried to buy un wrapped hershey kisses,price was double because they had to change their process.Also found a new product called David gourmet cookies,Try Trader joes

Because they are an abomination...leave original, delicious Oreos alone!!!!!!! Lol, seriously I dunno, they are good though.
