Everyday I am tired, not in the sleep deprived sense, but just emtionally and mentally. Its just depressing looking at everyone in my school and seeing how great they got it, knowing their daddy bought them a spot in college. I've been thinking about walking into traffic or something like that. I don't know if I can keep on going. I just dont see any point in try to continue. Any ideas on what is should try or do? Also is it wrong to pray to God for him to kill you? If anyone says anythign drug related I will jump onto the freeway. if this is auto resloved, assume the worst.

I'm going to die someday. Why not sooner then later?

Let me be the first to talk to you. I was a complete geek in middle school with the total package. Big glasses, skinny as a rail, looked like a total reject. I was the joke of the school basically. I always wanted people to find a way to take my life away. I wanted to jump out in front of a city bus when I had a chance. The only problem was, every time I saw one, it was across the street or completely stopped somewhere. I completely feel where you are coming from as I have been there before. I entered high school with the same feelings and moved into an apartment with a brother of mine just barely younger than me. Come to find out, having to deal with him became even more oppressing. He would do things I didn't think he should be doing, hanging out with bad friends, what have you. I REMOVED myself from the situation and moved in with my girlfriend. She is going to bear a child for me one day and we have been together over 7 years. We've been through a lot. The only advice I can offer you, is the same I gave to myself. Find things that make you happy. I found your question because lately I have been in a rut myself, a depressing one. I have been thinking of close ones who have died which I have been a little sad about. I invite you to my Myspace and see how things are going for me. Life DOES get better. It took me 7 years to realize that. Good luck to you, and I pray that life does, in fact get better for you.

First of all you need to stop feeling sorry for yourself. My upbringing was with a very poor family and I saw the same thing that you described above. You must learn to accept that some people are born to privelidge and others are not. Set goals and ambitions in your life and map out a plan to make it happen. It is possible you know. It was extremely hard for me but I have made a success out of my life despite odds being against me. My secret, even though my family was poor, was that I would work odd jobs so I could have the funds to have the appearance of everyone else around me. This in itself gave me ambition to make it a reality instead of living it in fantasy and now I have the satisfaction of knowing that all that I accomplished, I did it for myself and to myself. The many obstacles that were thrown before me I took them on as a challenge and won and you can too. Its all about attitude. You see, many people fail because they didnt realize how close they were to succeding when they just gave up. The two hardest things to handle in life are failure and success. When I would come to the end of my rope I simply tied a not and hung on because many of our fears are tissue paper thin, and a single courageous step always carried me clear through them. It is always easy to find fault, but there is always a remedy. The harder you work at it the harder it is to surrender to it. And now I can finally say that even though my past was terrible, it looks a lot better now because it isnt here. If you can accept losing, you will never win. Sure I stumbled and made a lot of mistakes along the way but these mistakes were the portals of discovery for me. Change your thought and you can change your world. Have hope because hope sees the invisible, feels the intangible and achieves the impossible. Your destiny is in your hands and it is not a thing to be waited for it is a thing to be achieved. Its choice and not chance that determines your own destiny.

first of all, don't kill yourself. give it time.
consider the idea that this could be depression and you might want to look into how others have been able to come out of it. there is no one answer.
I love books and i have 3 options for you if you're up to it...
1. how I stayed alive when my brain was trying to kill me (she has some good things to say)
2. suicide: the forever decision (excellent)
3. on the edge of darkness (reading right now...compiles tidbits from people who suffer from depression--many famous--and everyone's experience is a little bit different)

consider calling a suicide hotline...they could have solutions for you.

also, there are other people who are worse off than you...consider looking at them and stop looking at those who are better off.
don't walk into traffic unless you want to ruin someone else's life. they don't need the guilt of not being able to stop in time.

please find someone you can talk to...your posting on here is not enough.

That is depression. You need professional help on the matter. Go to your physician or psychologist as they may help you ease out of depression.
