I am 5' 3" so compared to me 5' 11" is tall. But yeah, I would consider that tall.

It's taller than average in the USA. The page referenced below has a chart of average heights for various countries.
My guy is 5'11. I think it's the perfect height ;-)

5' 11" is near the male average in North America. I think average is 5' 10.5". Female average is, I think, 5' 6".
But 'tall' or 'short' is only what the perception says it is.

5'10 and 5'11 is the perfect level for males I think; it is not overbearing and it helps carry all kinds of physique. Lean people look atheletic and heavy people carry their weight well.

5'11 is indeed tall once you have past 5'9 your limbs are starting to have a long stretched look torsoe may vary!

I am 5/11 and to not consider myself tall. Dated this lady for years and she picks her dates by making eye contact. If she cannot look directly into your eyes, you are out of here. She was 5'10"..i bartely made it, and thank the Lord....Wow!

average to tall for a male
tall (but not too tall!) for a female

Yes, anything over 5'9" is tall. Especially compared to my 5'1" height.
Tall people are very graceful if they don't slump. If you are tall, don't slump, be proud of your heighth.
