I would support and encourage her to achieve her goals, financial or otherwise, but I do not value myself or (would be) spouse on the basis of earning potential, or anything else. Some of the greatest people on earth work(ed) as volunteers. We are not our pay checks or possessions. I would be happy for her if making more money makes her happy (of course I know it can't satisfy anyone, but 'whatever gets you thru the night').

Not really. While money issues can come to a head in relationships, at the end of the day it's the least of your worries.

No, but I'm speaking from myself personally. Usually if a guy has a problem with that they are living in the stone age or is lacking confidence in certain areas in life.

nope, relationships shouldnt be based on who makes more than who, or something small and insignificant like this, there are many more important things to worry about with a relationship, who makes more than the other isnt one of them, so dont let it be the basis of a relationship

I used to make more money than my bf, and he did not mind... now he makes more money than I do. I also have a lot more education, but again... he does not mind. If a man has enough self-esteem, then it shouldn't matter.
