It's scare for a guy to "court" a girl and the other way round. A lot depends on the individual of course. But I know 2 vert happily married women who took the initiative (one knew she might never see him again, so had to act - she said) and a couple of others who made the first move. Most guys are really flattered. Some males don't like strong women, some don't like weak ones and some know what and who they like when the "see her." If you are thinking about it, it may not happen, if you don't act. Just don't smother the guy. We get scared by girls that are too possive, come on too strong, are real clingy, etc. Just give things a chance and nature usually will take it's course.

nobody courts anymore...we date first to see if "courting", or the modern version, is a possibility. on the other hand, i suppose a girl going after a guy is just as good as the opposite.
