Unfortunately people are way more competitive in social settings than they need to be, they are overcompensating for something in their own personalities that makes them need to be "right".

The web is full of these, learn to ignore them. They are all Status, all Ages, all manner of Educated. They are just born party poopers.

Ignore/delete and move on.

For people who are deliberately insulting in their answers I think it is some form of release. I suspect you are right, they do it to feel big. My spelling is pretty appalling as well so I'm always very careful about it. But sometimes it is tempting. Especially when it's obviously just poor English like dat instead of that and replacing s with z for no apparent reason. I know some words in English are spelt with s and in american english are spelt with z but not whoze and friendz. Then it's tempting to comment, though I usually take those bitchy comments out before I submit the answer. After all, if you don't want to answer somebody's question, you should just move on to another.

I feel the same about people who post what is supposedly a question that is obviously calculated to be offensive. I think it's up to the responsible users of the site to report people who misuse it. It's pretty easy to do, just click on the report abuse flag for the thing the answer you find offensive and it takes your through the motions. If more people reported that type of activity perhaps less people would indulge in it. Failing that, deal with them as you should any other idiot, ignore them. You can't argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Merry Christmas.

I'm not sure sure what you are fishing for, or why. Clearly, you have a good grasp of English. It looks like you made a deliberate attempt to misspell words. Why bother spelling out a word like "insecurities" when you could have just said "crap". Meanwhile, you shortcut the word "to" with "2". Makes no sense to me. Are you the one doing the insulting? Or are you the insulted?

If you are truly having trouble learning, look carefully at the associations you've made with the process of learning. You probably associate painful feelings with it. Interrupt your old patterns. Then create a new association/establish new behaviors. For example, "Paying attention to my spelling improves my chances of being taken seriously by others and receiving respect."

Using correct grammar is something you clearly have the capacity to do. You have to want to do it. Take a systematic approach to establishing good habits, paying attention, practice and you will improve day by day. You will see your results and feel rewarded by your own efforts.

You will find that although there are some mean ignorant people who attack your inability to spell, there are at least as many more who are kind and are trying to address your issue, just like out there in the Real World. There are mean miserable souls and they usually have myriad personal problems of their own.Like the gentleman said earlier, you're gonna have to grow a thick skin and just blow off the ones who are nasty.

GRAR!!! WHY DONT PEOPLE GET IT?! This is the internet. We don't know each other personally (at least, that's what I will assume). It is our only outlet for our feelings, where we don't have to worry about crappy emo people breaking into tears and convincing other people to kick us in the @ss and feel sorry for them. I'm mean here because it's the only place where I can be mean consequence free (aside from being banned). I don't personally hate anybody (although master_betty_101's a pain in the @ss). I'm just venting out my feelings so that I don't kick my teachers in the crotch or wherever else it might hurt. So I don't need a fricking lesson in morals, thank you very much. You have to understand that venting out your feelings, instead of being sensitive and bottling them up, prevents a lot of violence. So stop caring. Your spelling is readable. Nobody hates you personally in Yahoo! Answers. If you are offended, vent it out. I wont stop you.

there are a lot of young boys on here having what they think is fun
i wouldn't take to much notice of them
they mean no harm i hope
your spelling is pretty good & that is true I've no trouble understanding what you are saying
some are that bad though on here no one can understand them
the spell check doesn't always spell the words right anyway & that does not help
you just keep doing what you are doing because personally i think you are doing pretty good

Keep your chin up... Your doing find with your typing..

Just remember sometimes you have children in here that are very rude and don't care about other peoples feelings or situations.
Very self centered..
If you remember that and carry on... as they are nothing but water off a ducks back.
Let them fall to the side.

...it's not a matter of feeling big. It's a matter of you being an easy target and not everyone is up for a challenge.

Unfortunately for you, I'm one of those people. Why would you do this to yourself? You're saying that people like me wanna feel big? What do you wanna feel? Sympathy? Aww, you can hook up a computer and connect to the internet (as well as register for a Yarhoo! account) but you can't take the time to read a book? There's one called a dictionary that shows you lots of different words that you can look at.

People like you make America weak. By whining and bitching about how no one helps them, you try to cover up your own insecurity about sucking at life by complaing about how people who make fun of you are insecure about themselves.

I know all of that might be too much for you, so here's the summary: go back to second grade.
