Jesus has not failed, We have ! You know of Jesus by your very
question. If you know all that You must be aware of the story when Jesus and The Disciples were in the Galilee,Jesus was asleep, a raging storm came that was going to tip the boat over
the disciples awaken Jesus to calm the storm,He abates the waters then he asks them, where is your faith ? have I not told you? The very Disciples could have stopped the storm but fear over came faith.I honestly believe We could tell a mountain to uproot itself and it would,if our mind had the straight.Personally my faith is Strong, my mind is weak at times it is easier to say Jesus help me than to try to do it myself. That tiny bit of fear or doubt in the back of ones mind is the only thing that stops us.

In order to be given the gift that Jesus gave to his disciples one has to be prepared to receive it. The gifts of the spirit, especially the ones you are talking about, don't go to just anyone off the street. They have to study, be taught spiritual discipline, etc. to be able to do these things. Would you expect to just walk into an Olympic event and be able to do it without any preparation? Well the same is true of the powers of Christ as well.
Many of the Saints were able to do these things through the power of Christ working through the Holy Spirit. I know people personally who have the discipline to be used by God as healers and I have seen the results.
And people of other religions can do these things too. Ever read about some of the things a well trained Buddhist monk can do?

There was this one time when a priest was celebrating mass outside because the guerrillas had chased the people into the mountains, and another priest was visiting (this was in central America) (it was very dangerous) Anyway, during mass, there was this boy that could not move, so the people put him under the stone that the priest was using as an altar, and during the course of the celebration, the visiting priest notice that the boy was no longer there. However, since the mass was in progress, he did not interrupt, but afterwards, he asked: "Where did that boy go?" (Remember: The boy had been so weak he hadn't been able to walk, people had to carry him) The parish priest lifted his arm and pointed to where a group of children were playing, and there the boy was, running around with the other children.

Miracles like these...
"Regarding St. Therese, in 1923 the Church approved of two spontaneous cures unexplained by medical treatment. Sister Louise of St. Germain was cured of the stomach ulcers she had between 1913 and 1916. The second cure involved Charles Anne, a 23 year old seminarian who was dying from advanced pulmonary tuberculosis. The night he thought he was dying, Charles prayed to Therese. Afterward, the examining doctor testified, "The destroyed and ravaged lungs had been replaced by new lungs, carrying out their normal functions and about to revive the entire organism. A slight emaciation persists, which will disappear within a few days under a regularly assimilated diet." These two miracles resulted in Therese becoming beatified. "
There are many more.

You've never heard of CPR. It restores life to some dead people with a touch of the hands to the body. It's a bit crude, but it works.
You've never heard of surface tension on water. True it won't hold our weight as we are in this universe but Einstein states that in a relativistic universe bricks which are falling can be made to stand still or fall upwards.
That defies all logic and reason.
It means there are things we don't yet comprehend.
Jesus, as a direct son of God has some inside information and inside help. He had more "genetics" than we have, if you will.
God can walk with man in Eden and wisk away into the cosmos to "Heaven" man still has to use Space Ships.
There are what are called "holy men" living in place like Tibet that can slow their hearts at will to one beat per minute. They can live for months on a small cluster of grapes. That defies logic too, but remember Moses travelled into the desert with 1 days rations. Jesus expected us to spread the word with nothing in our pockets and just the shoes on our feet, cloak and coat.
We are finite creatures chained to our bodies, yet we are nothing but atoms, which float freely in space.
Unlike God we can't go from solid to spirt at will or maybe we can and we just haven't figured it out yet.

It isnt Jesus who failed on the promise, but people just dont do these things. They dont try or dont have the faith to do it. Also, the Apostles did amazing things, healing, raising the dead and so forth so Jesus isnt the one to blame, its man... and also, there are often miracles recorded but its not too long after people trash it just because they dont believe it and assume it's fake so dont blame Jesus.

That promise was fulfilled in the lives of the apostles who laid the foundation for the Church. Peter and Paul raised people from the dead, healed people, Paul was bitten by a poinsonous snake and was not harmed.
2Cr 12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

Jesus was talking about spreading the message about God's Kingdom and true Christians are spreading the message further and longer than Jesus was able to in his limited lifetime. Don't be so quick to judge him. You might actually learn something.

Then i guess you haven't become acquainted with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? Jesus indeed fulfills all of his words, but these things that you have listed can only be performed by one holding his authority and even then, according to their faith for a righteous intent or need.

Jesus' quote said that if you had the faith of a mustard seed, you could do those things. The problem is, people don't have that non-failing faith, we all question. Even the holiest, most religious person you ever saw, has a little doubt sometime.
