A way of tricking someone which is still effective although it has been used a lot before. It was the oldest trick in the book - one man distracted me while another stole my wallet.
Didn't the serpent trick Eve?

NO! So don't think you're going to use that on me. It's a ploy some children in adult's clothing try to use and think that once there, why not go all the way. Well, a girl would be nuts to be with someone who thinks that would work. Worse, she is too easy. He did not need that joke to do it anyway.

Well, since the first trick was the deception of Eve by Satan using the serpent, I would guess that is telling her that she could become like God and the book would be the Bible.
