First you need to read up on finches and their housing and food requirements. They need a nextbox one one of those little basket nesting things from a petshop. Locate it very close to the bottom of the cage, because after babies hatch, they sometimes get pushed out of the next accidentally and are killed. Put some pieces of string...threads from a burlap sack work great...in the bottom of the cage and the birds will make their own nest in the box or basket. Keep the cage out of cool areas or drafty areas. Provide LOTS of nesting material. A good book or website will have other suggestions for nesting material. You don't want anything that will smother baby birds of anything they can get caught in. Don't disturb them any more than necessary. I don't recall the time it takes for eggs to hatch. If the birds are mating, you will hear funny noises and see them in the act if you are lucky. Don't expect finches to be birds that you can handle like a cockatiel, parrot or parakeet...they are NOT social in that way.

there is not something incorrect with allowing them to nest. sure, the puppy keep won't provide you what you paid for the moms and dads, that's how they make their funds. yet because of the fact which you place a nest field interior that is basically prevalent that they might use it. count variety your self as fortunate :) some human beings choose the birds to reproduce and that they only perch and seem at one yet another. The finches will do all the artwork, besides that's a super adventure on your daughters to computer screen them hatch and advance. while they fledge, they pass away the nest, you could run an upload interior the paper, or call the puppy keep. Who knows, you could properly be waiting to sell the babies and purchase greater food, toys and all the stuff that make a chuffed healthful fowl :)

Before you think about breeding birds, you need to get them to the vet. There you can learn how to properly take care of them, and how to handle breeding. You can't just bring two birds home, put them together and tell them to make babies. That's pure ridiculous.

Go to the vet.
You can find one at http://aav.org/vet-lookup

well u need to read up on them and find out about their nesting habits. Then provide them suitable materials so that they can build a nest. Then, put them in a quiet room where thy wont be disturbed by loud noises, kids etc. these things take time. the more stress they are under the longer it will take. why do you want to bread them anyway, you have only had them 3 days. why not just enjoy them for awhile?
