My roomate is blind and he wears the ugliest clothes you have ever seen. He never gets chicks and blames it on the blindness. Would it be rude to tell him.

Not if you are diplomatic about it. If he responds positively offer to help him pick out some clothes at the store.

If you were deaf you would have made a good combination. You know about the saying-A deaf wife and a blind husband will have the best marriage. Be kind to him. He wears the ugliest cloths because he cant see them and you can see. Getting a chick is not the end of the world, may be for you. Man has different traits. He might be more gifted than you in certain aspects. God has given you sight, be thankfull for that.

Absolutely not. Buy him a nice outfit, Slacks, a shirt, a tie , a sweater of jacket, tell him it is an experiment.

Both of you go out for a night on the town. He will "see" quickly that you helped him.

Thanks so much for caring about someone with a disability.

Too bad more of the "challenged" don't have friends like you.

Your instincts are right, and your cause is just. Just ask him to let you choose his clothes one time.......an experiment. Tell him you want women to see the man you know, without judging his manner of dress. It is a compliment, and he should see it as one.

You are a good friend.

For a guy's night out, I would go with dark grey slacks, a blue or green shirt, and a soft leather jacket.

This isn't as gay as it sounds, I am not a guy. NortonNobnick is a girl. I may make bumper stickers that say that, lol.

Bless your Heart

Obviously, somebody is buying his clothes for him now. He's not caning his way through TJ Maxx and picking up random stuff along the way. Why not talk to whomever is dressin' him funny now? This might be easier. Or, find a blind chick for him to hook up with and make sure he's at least wearing nice textures.

with Christmas fast approaching, why dont you ask him to go shopping with you?
while youre on the way to the store, offer to help him get a new outfit for the upcoming christmas seasons parties you both might be attending.
a few slacks, a few dress shirts and a nice pair of shoes, that all COORDINATE (key word there!)
that way hell have at least two outfits that appropriately go together, and have him put them in a special spot away from his other clothes

Blinding someone goes way beyond a prank. Not cool. Want to get her back for screwing up your eyebrows? Screw up her hair. Find something that you can put in her shampoo that will change the color of her hair. I think hydrogen peroxide does that, but I'm not positive.

totally tell him in a nice way. Dont be a dic and say dude you dress like a dork. Just be like hey man, let me give you some fashion tips. I have a blind friend that goes on lots of dates (successfully)

He's self concious about the blind thing so why don't you just tell him that that is the problem. Girls like guys who don't care one way or the other and if they see that it bothers him, then most likely it will bother them too.

Well, frankly, it might be the blindness. But you could help him spruce up his wardrobe. Be nice. Say something like, "Hey, why don't we go out shopping for a new outfit for you?"
