My dog spike would look cool with a blue mohawk. What is the best die to use.

Food Coloring- will wash right out & not harm Spike.

Strong Kool Aid will work without harming the dog but it may dye its skin, too.
My neighbor dyed their dog blue with Kool Aid when we were kids and it went all the way into the poor things skin. Their mom was so mad. She had his fur clipped real short and it really didn't make a difference.
So, it may take a while to come out. Washing won't help too much either.

Whatever you do, don't use anything permanent. Food coloring may work, as the person said above. I've heard that you can use Kool-Aid mixed with water to dye human hair, and I don't think it would hurt a dog.

If he is a light colored dog use kool-aid. You dissolve 3-4pkin a quart of water. It will not harm him and washes out over time

None what so ever. You do not dye a dogs coat. Its really bad for their skin, coat and just plain stupid
