Every woman is different. It took me about 2 years to have some kind of regularity, and even now it's not the best. The first day of your period is the day when you first begin to menstrate, so you call it day one. Anywhere between 28 and 32 days are the 'normal' range. If you've had your period for a few years I'd have it checked out. Otherwise, don't stress about it.

A lot of women experience it. I am the same way. There is nothing harmful about having an inconsistent period, in fact some women would consider you lucky- but the best thing to do is ask your doctor, because you could have a hormone inbalance- in which case you would probably be put on birth control, because it not only keeps you from getting pregnant, it regulates your period.

Also, i don't know how old you are, but sometimes regulation works it'self out with age.
In the end though, the best advice is to ask your doctor next time your in the office.

How old are you? If you have started menstruating in the last couple of years, it could take a while for you to become regular. Have you had a pelvic exam to rule out any problems? If you want to be regular, you might consider going on the pill. This will make you regular (almost always) and make your periods lighter.

Cycles are different for every woman. From the time I first got mine to now, I've always had about 4 to 8 weeks in between periods.

it happens to me too.i've been to a specialist before and she gave me pills as my medicine but after a few months it has gotten back to the same irregular menstruation. what normally affects that are the genes taht you have.you could have inherited it from your mo and also the environment, normally for me,when i'm in a new place and i'll be staying there for a month or so, i won't have my menstruation right away. sometimes stress to could affect it.
don't worry it's nothing serious.my sister and my bestfriend experienced that too.

Skipping a month every once in a while is pretty common. But you should talk to your doctor to make sure that everything is okay.

It's not normal but some women do experience it.
You should talk to your doctor and get on the birth control pill to regulate your period.
It works.
Every month it comes like clockwork for me.

normal is different for everyone. how old are you? sometimes it takes years to get a set schedule for your period. if you are worried about this, talk to your family doctor.

i did the same thing when i was a teenager...and by the time i was in my twenties it was normal. a lot of things affect your period....activity. dieting, emotions...

don't worry, i feel that you will soon be regular.
