My mother has dark olive skin. She has used this product for years and has never had a problem with it lightening her skin. The only problem that she had was that she left it on to long one time and it made her skin red & irritated.

Jolen Bleach bleaches just your hair - it has no lightening effect on your skin, whatsoever. You could try L'Oreal Paris DERMO-EXPERTISE WHITE PERFECT Triple Whitening Spot Corrector.Oil free, non-sticky essence with highly concentrated active ingredient. Whiten the dark spot, even your skin tone. Use it twice a day, spread evenly on face or only on the spot area. Personally,I feel if your skin is healthy n has a glow - colour doesn't matter!

do not use it to lighten your skin - it's formulated for hair, so the chemicals in it are not right for your face and can cause irritation.
there are lots of skin wightening products in the market anyway, so go for those.
chanel particularly do a good range.

Please don't change the colour of your skin and I would'nt personally use that product but I would get some hair removing cream which doesn't irritate unless you have sensitive skin.
