I have had a sore throat for the last two days or so, and now a very runny nose. Last night my heart rate seemed very accelerated, actually keeping me from sleeping. Today my sore throat has been diminishing thought the runny nose is getting worse, but what I dont understand is that tonight after dinner I had a brief bout of diarhea. Does anyone know if it could be related to the other symptoms? As far as I know I have not had a fever.

Some sort of common virus. Many rhinoviruses can causes the symptoms you are describing. They can hang out in the gi tract and cause gastroenteritis---diarrhea.
Nothing major to worry about. Plenty of fluids and rest, avoid dairy products until the diarrhea is done.

You may want to check your tongue and see if it resembles a strawberry.. If it does it would indicate a pretty serious strep infection with possibility of going systemic.

sounds like u have whats been going around in some form or another...either a mild flu or cold. i wouldn't worry about it. rest and drink lots of water and oj.

I think you are effected from virus. maybe influenza.
