my friend from abroad is saying tha he loves me too much and he cant live without me he says he will be unmarried for the rest of his life if i dont marry him but the main problem is that i dont love him how should i tell this to him he thinks that i too love him but thats no true

the only way to tell him is to just tell him, if you cant do it verbally then just write him a note or something

I think that it is unfair to keep him hanging on. No matter which way you choose to break up with this guy, be it directly or gradually or by 3rd party or whatever ~ he is still going to end up with a slightly broken heart. (I say slightly because I don't believe this relationship has that much substance given that it is long distance).
Spare him the game. Let him know how you feel so he can get over it and move on with his life. I, for one, believe that you are right in wanting to break up with him. When he says: "I can't live without you" and "I'll remain single for the rest of my life," then obviously he is using this lame line to make you feel guilty. Perhaps he can tell that he is losing you and that is why he says these things. If that's the case, then all the more reason to conclude this relationship.
I don't think he will be that devastated :) It sounds like he is anticipating your next move. Be confident. You'll be alright.

Communicate continuously...since he is your friend...if you dont love him, convey him. You can well, tell him that by saying all this he is putting a knot in the relation you have now...and possibly because of this you both will lose each other as FRIEND also. Even if the friendship does not turn into love or marriage why is he trying to impose. because youcare for him you are worried. But if it is his choice dont bother yourself too much - may he is truly loving you - but to respond to his love you should not compromise. If you marry him, you would be reciprocating HIS LOVE, you would not be loving him - and thats no fun.
Remember - compelling someone to respect and earning respect is entirely different. Tell him your feelings and leave things to his choice.

Stop listening to him and tell him the truth. Tell him you don't love him. He is trying to make you feel guilty and that is not a sign of love it is a sign he wants to control you. Find someone else and then he can get over you and find someone else. Tell him also to grow up. It takes two people to want each other so it will never work.

you don't love him that is what is important.people will say all kinds of things to get what they want.you have two choices end it now or remain miserable!tell the guy you don't share his feelings your sorry but it isn't fair to either of you to keep this going the longer you wait the bigger the problem!you may lose a friendship but you will have peace of mind you did thr right thing. good luck!

just break it up.. plain and simple.. tell him that you dont feel the same you as he does.. sometimes you just have to tell it straight even it hurts.. if he decides to stay unmarried.. that's his decision.. and you should not feel any guilt about it at all.. (and hello?? he's abroad... long distance is hard enough)

see dont fool him by not being frank to him.are u afraid if u say u dont love him he wont be ur friend anymore like that.never mind but never play with people heart. talk to him and make him understand how u feel about him. best of luck

Be blunt...Some times people say things to get you to do something...My ex husband said he was going to kill himself, i asked if he wanted me to load the gun, that did not work so he told me he had a brain tumor... I again asked if he wanted me to load the gun...If you act like it doesn't matter to you, if he ever gets married or not, then he will move on...Do not baby him, be firm, if not he will try whatever to get to you...The best thing i can suggest to you is to totally cut ties with Mr. creepy controlling dude and move on.
