Well even if you think islands and beaches are cliche, I would recommend Dubai, UAE. It is one of the shopping capitals of the world with endless shopping malls, a magnificently peaceful and clean beach, the seven-star Burj al Arab and its mesmerizing views and so much more. A highly multi-cultural society makes it a wonderful place to stay in as throughout the year it is bustling with tourists and secondly more than 80% of the working population is foreign.
So a place with everything and a tolerant society seems to be the recipe for a perfect getaway.

My sister got married earlier this year, and they went to Costa Rica, and they had an awesome time... they went on jungle hikes, danced....
Some of the great places I've been are:
1. Ireland: Dublin and Galway are beautiful
2. France: Paris and the Loire Valley
3. Italy: Rome and Capri
4. England: London!
5. Cuba: Hoquin and Havana
6. Disneyworld - I went there with my BF last year, and we had a BLAST!
It all depends on the sort of experience you want... do you want to lay on a beach and do nothing? Do you want to go sight-seeing? Do you want to go shopping? How much are you looking at spending?
You might also want to check with a travel agent, as they could tell you about some other places that you might never think of.

Depends? I know you don't want islands, but what do you want? Do you plan on staying in bed most of the time having sex or do you actually want to enjoy a new place? If you're just going to spend your time having sex, go some place close and nice, but cheap. If you want to enjoy your time traveling, maybe Shanghai or Thailand or where ever it is that you've always wanted to go.

You can go to Fiji or Tahiti for under 3k for 7-10 days...the water is beautiful and it is a very relaxing atmosphere in general. If you want to get further away, then I recommend Australia! Play with the wildlife and go to the theater...it is an experience you won't soon forget.

I had a friend that wanted new york... eh... Iv heard of people going to africa. What about arizona? Its pretty, kinda hot though. Find a hotel/spa and stay there, wherever you find one. Or if your into chocolate, hershey park in pennsylvania sounds tasty.
