Just yesterday I picked up a book from the library about Mary and as I opened it a coin fell out into my hand ,I said look a gift from Mary ,it was a peso ,then I opened the book to a random page just to see if it was interesting and it fell right open to a chapter that said "gifts from Mary",I checked it out and I'm still reading it because I don't know what the coin is for ,I tried holding over a little pain I had nothing happened I read a little of the book sat down at my table ,saw my daughters paper and pencils and very quickly sketched a picture of the virgin ,a very good one and I'm just not that good .I felt it was missing something so I put my hand to paper and just let it go first my scribble looked like a hand holding something out ,I'm not sure what it was,and I kept scribbling and had a big dark mass that didn't look like any thing, but as I walked by the drawing today I saw that it was a heart ,a human heart not the little drawing of a heart we all do but a real looking heart ,I'm not Catholic and I don't know what this mean or what the message is ,now I saw your question and that caught my attention too ,I guess a peso and a drawing are my miracle but I don't understand the message.E-mail me if you do.Thanks and happy birthday Guadalupe Dec.12

After the Blessed Virgin Mary, as Our Lady of Guadalupe, appeared to St. Juan Diego in 1531, the native population of Mexico, which until then had fiercely resisted all efforts to convert them to Christianity, suddenly had a change of heart.

As a result, the local priests were kept very busy for the next several years ... 7 days per week ... 12 hours per day ... baptizing a steady stream of new converts.

Before the throngs began to thin out, and through the grace of God, over 7 million people were baptized into the true faith.

Mexico remains a staunchly Chrstian country to this day.

I've never thought to aske her...thank you for your question!
Wow, there's lots of good questions here for the past 10 minutes or so. I am encouraged.

Stuff I came across regarding this apparition: when she called herself "Guadalupe", people were puzzled, since it was not a place or a word that was in use in Spanish. It is a native word meaning: "One who conquors the snake" (or words to that effect)

Yes, Our Lady of Guadalupe, yes I think along with the heirarchy of the Catholic church; deem this apparition 'worthy of belief'. I heard of this apparition through a friend, a read several books about it, quite fasinating. And, sorry can't claim any miracles by asking for her intercession with this title.

Yes , yes i believe in her...my mom introduced me to her and the miracle that she has made for me is she protects me and my family every day...she has helped heal my moms back , you see my mom has a horrible disease in her spine and the doctors said that it was only going to get worse so, she prayed to the Virgin Mary and made a promise with her and 2 months later the doctor said that it was a miracle because her back was healing which is almost impossible...

i believe it was one of the virtues or angelic beings like the one at the pool of bethsaida in the Bible.

I dont believe it is from God, but i believe it is a separate angelic activity.

If it is profitable, i think its good for humanity.
But if it leads a person away from the real God, then its bad.
