Chihuahua's are just very loving that way, what is weird is to have one that isn't like that. You will also find that they love to be inside coats, hoodies, and shirts, most of the time close to your neck. And make sure you show them love in return or they will begin to misbehave, be detached, or even mean at times. They are a lap dog. I have helped raise 16 chihuahuas (so far).

I've known a lot of people who kiss their pets on the mouth.
Heck - I knew a girl who let her rats drink out of her mouth.
