theres this girl right?...well she pretty much knows i kindda like her right?...but she told my ex-girlfriend she couldnt like me because she(x-gf) told this new girl that i was her first love and due to that(new girl) she has "respect" for her and cant like me, but i get this small feeling that shes kindda digging me. i dont know what i should do without risking our friendship...(new girl and me)

thats the only solution. don't let your other friends be the one to tell her or else she would think its a joke.
tell her[ new girl], if she talks about your x, that she[your x] is your x and that you want to be with her[new girl]. but don't be to hard on her[new girl]!
