My kids like it with egg noodles and some of that cream of mushroom soup, especially the Roasted Garlic flavor. It's quick meal and they think they have a stroganoff. Add green veggies and dinner rolls. It's very good.

Hello Latterdaylady,
Sweedish meatballs should be served as an appetizer. Stick those decorative toothpick in them and put them around a bowl of Ranch Dressing (southern people love Ranch). Then ave some french bread (Wal-Mart is the best) bevel cut it. Brush some butter or for a lighter flavor EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) and then put it in to a salamander or a broiler let it warm up an serve immediatly. Add a vegan salad and then for the main course sever something with meat in it with lots of veggies. The more colorful the meal the healthier it is. Try a roast with carrots, potatos, celery, corn, green beans, rosemary, and salt it good), then cook some black eyed peas ( not the Elephunk version) and that is a complete meal. But you might want to add some fruit in there somewhere. Like dessert as a topping. I hope that this answer was of some service to you. Have a nice day.

Swedish meatballs make great appetizers accompanied by other appetizers at special events. Place some out in a crock pot or heated tray and have some toothpicks handy for the meatballs if you are serving them with other finger foods; no eating utensils required!

Buy wide egg noodles and cook them according to the the directions on the package. Drain well and toss with a melted stick of butter and 2 tablespoons of parsley. Serve this with your Swedish meatballs.
Some people even serve theirs with mashed potatoes.

Whatever you want. Some people eat them with nothing. I would probably go with rice or a baked potatoe or bread if not using a pasta of sorts. You're the cook, experiment for yourself. Some of the best creations were discovered by accident.

I don't know if these count as spaghetti since they are still pastas but with small ones you could do a meatball lasagna and then you could also do a stroganoff with egg noodles.
