no they don't grow they just swell more... :o)

Your feet will swell during the day from any walking that you do and from heat. That is why people often say not to buy shoes early in the morning, since you may find that they won't fit you properly in late afternoon and may even hurt.

I don't think they grow, just swell and are larger by evening. That's why they say buy shoes in the afternoon or evening, and they won't be too tight/

I would say they are maybe more swollen in the afternoon if you have been on them all day or have been sitting at your desk with out having your legs slightly elevated.
