I have run out of ideas. Anyone have any melt in your mouth recipes and combinations?

Not knowing what you normally eat and your tastes sort of limits us..... but you can always make blackened pork chops with mashed sweet potatoes and perhaps a little mango relish. Crab cakes from your grocery store's seafood counter are normally a safe bet.... I pan fry them until golden brown and finish them in a 350F oven for 6 minutes, serve with tartar sauce (home-made with mayo, dill pickle and cayenne) lemon wedges and field greens. For a treat I like to pepper crust a NY strip steak and sear that on VERY high heat and finish in the oven until medium rare, serve with mushroom fricasse, grilled bread and again some fresh field greens. Home-made chicken salad is always tasty... diced chix. breast, mayo, sour cream, celery, apple cider vinegar and salt and pepper make it simple and delicious. For a vegetarian sub sandwich.... I use a bagguette, buffalo mozz, pepperoncini, roast red peppers, arugula, olive tapenade and assemble like any normal sub sandwich.... drizzle with good olive oil, wrap loosely in foil and bake at 375F for 12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is slightly browned and crispy. Quiche Lorraine Omelette with Gruyere Swiss, ham, bacon and sometimes carmelized onion. Hope this helps at least inspire you to try some of your own combinations. Happy Holidays and Good Eating!!!

My favourite recipe:
Marinate some chicken wings/drumsticks in chopped garlic and ginger, and soy sauce (add some water otherwise it would be really salty). Then roast with honey. This makes great finger food/starters/picnic food!

A quicker recipe:
Place some chicken breasts (1 per person) into an ovenproof dish with broccoli and carrots. Mix a can of Campbells chicken soup according to the label and stir in a pinch of curry powder, then add to the chicken and veg. Bake in the oven for 45mins to an hour on 190C. Serve with jacket potatoes. Yummy!
