I would say no, let be honest how many guys do you know that are good at returning xmas cards? (Just to be fair I am a woman, dont return cards.. i just never seem to get around to it)
I would hope for a card and expect a thank you. If you dont get at least a thanks he's not worth your time.

don't expect it. because if he does not you may feel disappointed
if he sends you a Xmas card and you do not expect it . you will be pleasantly surprised and have a real reason to be happy.
i hope he sends you a Xmas card.

No, Christmas cards are gifts. They may not be expensive, but they are still a "gift." If you get a return card...be delighted...but you should not expect a card or gift, just because you sent one.

Yes and No... If he's awesome, he may send one back... but guys dont generally do stuff like that... he may not send one back... i wouldnt be dissappointed tho... they just dont think it's necessary.. I would be satisfied with him saying "thanks for the card, it was nice."
