The best give is often one from the heart. Why not make an album of your family's life, starting right from when either you are your siblings were born. Use pictures, letters and postcards from all of the happy occassions and combine them into a work of personalized art.

I don't know about your father, but most fathers love something,
sentimental and personal from their siblings.
It means more to a parent to get something unique, than something expensive from the store.
May I suggest writing your own personal poem and having it
framed for him. There are several sights on the net where you can get this done, and some of them will write the poem for you..
You might also consider a 'heartfelt' thanks letter, telling him how dear he is to you and all the wonderful things about him, that you love.! I just know older folk appreciate things like this far more than bought gifts.

Your dad will be happy with what ever you get him.

But at his age, he probably has everything he wants. So why not make a super-duper package of all of his favorite goodies? Special cheeses that he likes, the fancy summer sausage, beef jerky, and then don't forget to though it something he can look at all year. Maybe a key chain that says "World's Best Dad" Sounds kind of corny, but us old folks like that stuff.

I'd recommend something he'll find a use for almost every day. It's a Swiss Army Knife, with multiple tools on it. Below is a link to a web site that shows the one I have. Merry Christmas!

It depends on his interests. You could get him a parakeet if you know he likes animals. Or, you could get him a clock that shows humidity, temperature, etc. You could also make a power-point of family photos set to music and burn it to dvd. Hope that helps!
