Actually I find it surprising when someone actually does say You're Welcome and Thank You. I am suprised that some people still have manners.

It's not weird but it is rude. If it's a child, I don't think much about it..kids can be shy but if their parent is around, they need to be reminded to say it. I've seen many adults not do either and that's just ignorant to me. lol, if I'm in a situation where a thank-you is warranted for something I did for someone and they dont' say it...I'll say, you're welcome w/a raised eyebrow. Yeah, it's then a forced thank-you but at least it didn't go unnoticed.

i think it is weird. Some people are not raised with manners. It always bothers me when i hold a door opened for someone and they just want through and show no appreciation. I know this is a weird example but it is the little things that count. I dont find it as weird when people forget to say "your welcome".

I think it's rude, not to say you're welcome or thankyou. My younger brother in highschool now, and he's never learned how to say either .

Yes, weird AND rude. Thank you and you're welcome are things everyone should have learned in kindergarten.

I don't consider it weird. I just consider them an unthoughtful person, haha. A Thank You/You're Welcome goes a loong way :)

It is rude. The practice of good manners has deteriorated.
