you bought a long hair to get advise to have a shorthair glad im not a pet glad your not my owner pitty your poor animal that someone else could call pet cruella devile.

Don't cut the poor guinea pig's hair. Just brush it yourself. I'm sure it needs to be brushed every day, but it's not like they're very big. You'd only have about 6 inches worth of animal to brush.

Do I understand correctly that you take your pig to a pig groomer and pay to have its hair brushed?

Of course; just cut its hair.
You could give it a mohawk or a poodle cut...
Anyway if you give it a bad haircut, it will grow back.
