Ok, what do you mean by like him? And what do you mean he is not ready for moving passed the friend stage?
I am assuming you are talking about sex? Why would you have sex with somebody who didn't love you and respect you?
You sound so young, (no offence), I think you need to sit down and take a long hard look at your relationship and decide whether you just want to be friends with this person or if you both want to make it a more committed and deep relationship.

If the relationship is sexual then it is past the friend stage if he treats you good and don't mess around or lie to you then I would give him some more time.
Try not to over analyze any relationship there is not a time line in which people must follow. It may take him a little longer to be able to tell you how he feels.
If he is a dog and is messing around and treating you like crap then move on and forget about it.
Good Luck

Don't spend the holiday season alone, make sure you take things lightly and have a great Xmas and a fun new year.
Then if you feel like breaking it off and making a new start at least the weather will be better and everyone is out of their winter blues and ready for dating.
What ever your choice I hope it works out,
Good luck.

when two people have an interest in each other they don't want start by being friends that's why it's called dating and not hanging. Therefore, I'm assuming he's just not that into you.You should ask what his true intentions are. It sounds to me he's still waiting for that chance to meet someone he might consider a better match.

Straight guys do not have friend that are female, I don't care what you have heard. I am sure he wishes to go further(he-he)in a relationship, he probably is shy or inexperienced. Do not be condescending towards him, be cautious. If he does only desire friendship, he might be a closet monster! The other side of the coin is not a favorable alternative, and that is he is trying to be polite, and does not find you particularly attractive, or his objective is dating one of your friends, and he has not yet done that....

Dont let the holidays sway you in deciding to stay together. But make it clear in a card or a gift you may give him its either a long term commitment or its time to go seperate paths.Dont ruin the holidays playing this type of mind game.

Hun, how can you call him your boyfriend if you say that he can't move past the friend stage? I think you should find a guy who will really appreciate you, and would do anything to have you as his girl:)

Well just don't push it. It's better to keep the relationship building, no matter which level you may be on. I would wait longer to see when he'll be more comfortable to have a more serious relationship.

Don't believe the TV, & magazines!
Not everyone is having the ideal Christmas.
It's all an illusion!
If someone is not ready, don't rush them.
You don't want to be the pusher.
